Elizabeth Jean Thomas is the Co-founder and Director of Phono Logix and Director of Clinical Operations at Rise Development Centre. She is an RCI Certified Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist with over 19 years of experience working with various organisations and hospitals in Chennai and Gurgaon. She completed her Bachelors and Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from AYJNIHH, Mumbai University.
She has been dealing with children and adults with communication disorders, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, early intervention of the Hearing Impaired as well as with Voice Disorders and Motor Speech Disorders. She has worked extensively with individuals with Dysphagia and Aphasia secondary to TBI and stroke. She is certified in Oral Placement Therapy and takes a keen interest in pediatric cases with difficulties in feeding and swallowing.She believes in focusing on the strengths of a child and not on the weaknesses and is convinced that a little bit of patience and understanding can go a long way in tapping into their potential.
She was formerly the Head of Speech Language Pathology at Mom’s Belief,a healthcare start up with global presence, where she was responsible for the roll out and operations of speech therapy services in centres across India. She has also worked as consultant Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist at The Speech and Hearing Clinic( HAC), WeCAN, Balavidyalaya, Apollo First Med Hospitals and Umeed Foundation in the past. She firmly believes in the positive impact of family oriented intervention on an individual’s progress and has been devoting a considerable amount of time developing parent training modules and successfully implementing them.
R. Praveena is the Co- founder and Director of Phono Logix and the Clinical Director of Rise Development Centre, Chennai.She has over 18 years of experience as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India. She completed her Bachelor’s in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from AYJNIHH, Mumbai University and Masters in Psychology from Madras University.
She has worked extensively with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hearing Impairment, Stuttering and Motor Speech Disorders. She started her career as a Consultant Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist at Adi Parasakthi Hospital and Research Institute later moving on to Balavidyalaya School for the young deaf children and Sankalp learning centre for children with ASD. She was formerly the Clinical Director of Aveksha Speech Therapy Centre.Her motto is “every child needs to communicate” and she believes strongly in empowering each child to communicate either verbally or using Alternative and Augmentative Communication. She is currently training to be a Certified Behavior Analyst.
Her expertise lies in efficiently combining speech and language therapy with behavioral techniques to develop communication, especially in children with Autism. She is very passionate about working with children and enjoys her role in bringing about positive changes in their lives.

They are trained in telepractice and keep upgrading their skills through professional certifications and training.
